    Hi Folks,
Would anyone know if it's possible to have a Rowan tree that doesn't flower or have berries.

It was only 3ft tall when I got it, it's now about 15ft, looks healthy but I want to feed the birds.

Very strange, are you sure it's a rowan? I don't know of any that don't flower or berry.

Rowan tree = sorbus but there is also a white beam which is also sorbus and it has very little in the way of flowers and berries. Whatt are the leaves like?

So sorry I am late in getting back to you folks.
No, I'm not sure that it is a Rowan now. The leaves are each side of a stalk.

I must look closer and compare it with Rowan Trees next door and across the road that do flower and have berries.

    Thank you.
