    We've got a new member on here, a celebrity no less. Dr Hilary Jones from GMTV has joined up. I'm sure it is genuinely him, cos they said so.

    People who come on a forum simply to post porn are called trolls. We have our way of dealing with them. You can help by simply reporting the post and then ignoring them.

    If you report a post, all the staff from Nathan to me, Banana Man and all the mods, get an email notification so even though we may not be on the forum at the time, we know something is afoot!

    While you were making this thread and effectively 'feeding the trolls', Nathan and I were racing around in the background getting rid of them all!

    The report button is your best weapon against the trolls!

    quite agree with you daisees we didnt make a thread over 2 years ago when we had them i just sent pms to admin best way really as it feeds them as you say

    When we do get an attack, please do not 'log out', please carry on as usual. For trolls, this is what their aim is, to disrupt the forums they target. By carrying on as usual it is more helpful to us.

    We have our ways of dealing with them, as Daisees said, and though it did not look like we were about, it shows that we were ;)

    I don't know about here, but in the Forum of which I am an Admin the 'report post' facility sends an e-mail to all Mods and Admins, so even if they're not logged on they will be made aware of inappropriate activity. You wouldn't believe what happens behind the scenes :gnthb:
