Life!!

Well this week had been a BRILLIANT week, on Wednesday I acquired 2 baby budgies which I had been hoping for, on Thursday a routine doctors appointment went way better than expected, and today my opthalmologist told me that I no longer needed to use eye drops for my glaucoma, he doubted I ever needed them in the first place it was just a precautionary thing. I drove home more happy than I have felt in a long long time......................!!
Arrived home to find that my 20 year old cat was struggling to pass water again, another urine infection I thought, but to be on the safe side I nipped him into the vets, the vet has just telephoned to say that the tumour which they suspected had grown so large it was now blocking his bladder, we had reached the end of the line and it would be the kindest thing to let him go.
My "brilliant' week has just ended in seconds!!!
I just needed to share this, please don't post sympathy messages I am too upset to read them.

I have a 20-year old in September and I look at each day as a blessing with his arthritis, total deafness, a tumor on his nose and his clagginess ... but he eats well, wants to sit on me constantly and loves to laze in the sun and does his business at the right time in the correct place. I enjoy every moment with him.

I am pleased the other things in your life have been good ... and look at this as a positive moment that you have shared good moments together which you will always remember. xx
