    You should have new growth coming back soon hopefully. I think everyone rhubarb dies off in the winter.

          I have just started reading this...on page 3 now.
          What a lot off work you have put in, making good progress :)
          I would find an allotment overwhelming...bad enough having my small jungle garden.

          I plan on growing veg/fruit next year, but too much to do this year first.

            With some of the money I've earnings from my wood carvings I went and splashed out on a family apple tree.

            Just heeled it in today as strong winds are forecast tomorrow

                      What's wrong with James Grieve? I've never tried it myself but thought as it was a dual purpose apple it might be useful. Please tell me it doesn't taste like a granny smith, I really don't like them lol.
