Latest moan from you and me, 2015

when my eyes are sore i dab a little coconut oil on the lids/around eye (not actually in my eyes, mind you lol ) and rub in gently, it's wonderfully soothing stuff

thank goodness our Bichon Snoop has never rolled in poop the only smelly things he rolls in is when he knows there are dirty sweaty gym clothes in the laundry basket (he's not usually allowed in the bathroom but he can be very sneaky when he puts his mind to it ) he smells woeful after, like sweaty armpits

 

I'd been to the opthalmologist and I wanted something to put IN my eyes, they felt gritty and sore. Wore off on it's own in the end though.

 

I have new neighbours, it is only just turned 8 0'clock in the morning and the music is so loud I can hear it with my windows and door shut.

 

You could turn yours up a bit more so you can hear your music

 

Oh dear! That's not getting off to a good start is it - either for the day or as neighbours!
How "new" is new, Val? Do you know the rough ages of the neighbours? How well do you get along with your other neighbours? Do you think the noise may be disturbing them too?
This is the sort of thing which can cause feuds, so best to take a gently, gently approach if you decide to say/do anything. But, before that, just note this down (and any future instances) on your calendar so you can build up a picture of whether it is an occasional thing, or ... a habit!

 

Or ... send them a "Welcome to your New Home" card with a gift ... of a set of headphones

 

@Jiffy Well I live in a very old cottage I'm not sure it could stand the vibration!!!

@"M" Oh it stopped after about an hour, I won't need to say anything though, the other neighbours here are brilliant, but loud music just won't be tolerated.

....What an absolute disgrace

 

I'm so irritated! This morning hubby received an email from our bank telling him he was entitled to a £30k loan! Firstly we don't want a ruddy loan! But more importantly I thought the banks were suppose to be being more sensible with whom they loan money too! After all this is what caused half the problems with the financial crash in the first place! I find it totally irresponsible to be sending customers emails promising to lend £30k, of course we are far too sensible but can you imagine what this could lead to I the wrong hands! I also feel if I wanted a loan which I don't is go to the bank & ask for one .
Sorry to moan but for goodness sake!!!

 

No wonder this country is in the mess it is, people just can't be trusted to do there jobs properly

BIG moan this morning finally got round to putting gloss paint on some of my cupboard doors yesterday, it was supposed to be a very pale yellow.....................it isn't, it has turned out much brighter and I don't like the colour.
