Blimey, you've been busy! I only have a few, 3 Red Apache, 2 Orange Habanero and Scotch Bonnet, and a few sweet bell pepper plants, and 3 tomato plants. Do you happen to own a greenhouse dealership or something? :hehe:

 

Nope...no green house, i wish.:D:D

Alot of these were started indoors over the winter, with our growing season here, we usually get snow early November and it doesnt leave until mid April, its so much easier to start everything indoors.:thumb:

I will get some pics and post them, so you can all have a peek.:thumb:

Pretty much everything is growing in raised planter boxes that my husband built, the largest of the 2 is 40 feet long, by 3 1/2 feet high, by 4 feet wide, and the smaller one is about half that, and the rest are in pots, along the edges of the planter boxes.....i have a 200lb dog and if the pots were on the ground, he'd feel obligated to water them for me :dh::rotfl:

Are you a commercial grower Penny, or just a tomato and pepper enthusiast?

I've often thought about specialising in a particular plant for a while - particularly veg, since you can do one thing one year and another the next. Perhaps devoting my entire veg patch to different cabbage varieties or something.

In terms of toms & peppers I have:
Toms
Gardeners Delight, Tumbling Tom, Moneymaker (left over seeds, thought I might as well!) and Garden Pearl.

Peppers
Wordbeater, Hot Stuff, Cayenne, Demon Red.

 

Hiya Andrew.....nope i grow for my own use, and give some away to Family, and i also can and freeze alot of it too.
And the rest, i save seeds for everything.
Thats a good list you've started out with, a couple i havent heard of, so i may have to Google those to see what they are.
I love Moneymaker, thats such a good tomato, and Cayenne is a favorite here too.

 

I think Moneymaker often gets a bit of scorn from serious growers, Penny, so I felt I should apologise for growing it.

(but I like it too!)

 

I just Googled a couple of the kinds that you have listed Andrew, and i like them, so i have sent you a PM.
I didnt grow Moneymaker this year, thought i would chage it up a bit (lol)!!

 

Wow! What a list! And here's me growing only one thing, and that's Moneymaker tomato's! Oh, basil too, but that doesn't count, it pretty much grows itself :P

Where abouts in Ontario are you? Last time I visited Canada was during the summer and the heat was absolutely wild. The time before that was during the winter and quite opposite, unfortunately I'm sure that only leads to hardy people rather than hardy plants!

Thanks Matt.....ya the weather here can be wild.
I live 2 hours directly north of Toronto, up around Georgian Bay....its a big tourist area, and big homes.....alot of actors from Hollywood have vacation homes around here and NHL hockey players....i fact in a few days we are hosting the Wayne Gretzky Golf tournament

Oh lovely. I think I passed by that area on my way from Toronto to Sault Ste Marie, what I saw as we passed looked lovely if I'm thinking of the right place, but my geography can be appalling!
