Just had a lovely invitation by my brother to join him and his partner for a deluxe free dinner this Sunday. The timing is perfect since I have been badly flagging with my mother's steep decline (we are meeting to discuss her end of life plan tomorrow).

 

So sorry this lovely meal will be at such a sad time. Thing of all the good and happy times you remember with your mother and know that this life is only a veil that we all pass through, and nothing in our lives can be forever. Sad for you, but enjoy your special meal. (((hugs)))

Yes, I am spiritually focused so indeed know about the veil. It is unfortunate that, although my mother is a catholic, she does not believe in the afterlife (i.e. that we have a soul). She will find out soon enough though.

cannot complain: sunny, clear skies, temperature 21 Celsius, raising to 24 tomorrow....off sunbathing!
