I'm currently without one. These smart phones seem to have very limited life spans. I've had several over the last 2 years that died on me for no reason. Maybe I'll go back to a dumb phone.

Nope. Not a trace of anyone looking at your pictures unless they like/comment.

I know carphone warehouse have a few cheapy cheapy phones for sale from around £20. Some even come free when you top up £10 which is insane.

Not primitive at all. :blue thumb: Mrs Shiney used to have to walk to the phone box down the road to phone me (my dad had a phone because of his work) and get put through by the operator, who told her when to put the money in the slot :).

We had to be careful about what we said on the phone. The same operator was regularly on duty when she phoned and when the money was running out the operator, quite often, came back on the line and said to her 'Don't worry dear, you can just keep on talking as I'm on duty for a while yet'! One time when we were talking about our engagement party that was coming up soon the operator congratulated us and wished us luck! :hate-shocked:

my first mobile was an ericsson (pretty much like pic below)
                  er.JPG
and I was so keen on it, especially because it had big round spherical buttons and when it was in use it would make a lot of light!

I don't like mobile phones full stop:old:.....I have an old one which is for emergencies only.No one bothers to text me any more because they know I rarely have it switched on.All my friends need to have their phones surgically removed from their ears:rolleyespink: I'll go as far as to say I find them rather annoying, only a couple of days ago whilst stood at the checkout in a supermarket the lady in front of me who was getting served was trying to have a 3 way conversation with the girl on the till:rolleyespink: madness I tell you:old:

Mrs Scrungee and I both have Moto G's (the big 5" screen versions, I think iphone6 is only 4.7"?) which are unlocked and dual sim. We (and our daughter) also all have cheapo unlocked GT E1190 Samsung flip/clamshell un-smart/idiot phones. Mrs Scrungee and I also have Android tablets.

                      phones etc.jpg

I also have a battery powered ADATA wifi SD Card/USB reader (that's either a USB stick or even a USB mobile hard drive that I can access from my phone) that I can connect to my/our phones/tablets/laptops (also allows setting up a 2nd wifi access point at home for visitors), and also have a mobile internet wifi Mifi that can connect up to 5 devices to the internet when we're out and about (and not using the various free wifi apps on our devices). I've also given my daughter one set up with one with 12 months broadband. Got a 6 port Anker charger to keep everything topped up at home, dual charger in car does for now but will change to 5 port.

That sorts out our needs fairly well.
