What type of soil do you have Sam, clay, sandy etc.?

Hi Sheal. I think it's quite sandy but happy to dig up a chunk and take a pic to put on here?

I don't need the picture thanks Sam, I know exactly what sandy soil is as I live in a coastal position. :)

Sandy soil as you probably know is a thirsty and hungry soil. Forking it doesn't always work because the soil is crumbly and it tends to fill the holes you've opened up. I think to start with I would mow it, give it a good watering and a few days later put down a lawn feed. If you use a granular feed it will have to be watered in. Then over the next few weeks make sure it doesn't dry out to much and hopefully it will pick up. See if that helps and if it doesn't we'll try something a bit more drastic. :)

Perfect. Thank you! Sorry if that sounded sarcastic above. it was meant as I'm not sure if it is actually sandy. It's definitely not clay though!

Will certain try that. Any recommendations for a good feed brand/version wise?
