Hello there

Hello everyone

I am a new member, just wanted to say "hi". I had dived right into the forum, before posting an introductory message, so I hope that wasn't rude (too keen!). I have received some good advice already, so thanks for that.

I am a new gardener; my wife and I moved into our first house a few months back and we have a good sized "blank canvas" back garden to get cracking on (the front garden is very small and nothing to speak of). So this is why I am here, to ask advice and find inspiration.

Ultimately, in future we would like to have a multi-use garden - with a patio area, drying area for clothes, various flower beds and a bit of lawn for kids/dugs to run about on. We would like a greenhouse and some raised beds too, as we are interested in natures larder.

We drew out a layout which we will work to and can fit everything in nicely - however, we are realistic enough to understand that it will likely take years to make this a reality and that the garden will never really be 'finished', but rather constantly evolving.

So, please look out for my silly questions on the forum soon! Thank you!
