    Hi Rosietu "A Shropshire Lad"Indeed a beautiful rose in a class of its own,bred by David Austin in 1996 ,a lovely English Rose just right for a cut flower if you wanted to have some in your front room :)Well worth Its price ,Lets divide Approx £14 by 20-30 years of pure unadulterated Pleasure on the Eyes:yho::)

    You my dear Sir have it in one...
    When a breeder be it livestock or plant puts so much effort into producing some thing out standing, think of the failures and the disappointments that are along the way to producing some thing out standing. I think the price is minimal. says this oap on pension credit !

    It'll be the death of me all these gorgeous roses I don't have the room for, but I am devising a cunning plan to find a way to get more room and this rose has long been on the list.


    I think it as you say perfect.

    I think I probably bought a collection about four years ago
    this is the 1st time this beautiful rose has taken off, it has filled the garden with a heavy musk perfume would recommend it for damp north facing situation.
