    Hi can anyone tell what I have done wrong with the rhubarb, it seems to have gone an bolted on me. image.jpg

      Have you kept it watered so its roots have been kept moist? I know we've had some quite dry weather for a few weeks before the most recent rains.

      I will give it a good water tonite. Do I leave the tall thing on, I'm tempted to cut it off thank you for your help in advance "M"

        Cut it off, but try to make sure you don't leave the hollow stem so it will hold water in it, don't want rot setting in :)

            If a plant is stressed 'cos of lack of water, it will go quickly into reproductive mode whilst it still has the strength left to do it.

              Rhubarb seems to do that every so often - even without unusual conditions. Definitely remove it and follow Zigs instructions.
