Advice needed for Blue Mound

Recently treated myself to two Blue Mound shrub type just wondering wheres the best place to put them in my garden to get the best out of them when they flower. They are going into containers so I can move them about but should I give them full sun all day hottest part of my garden what conditions make them thrive.

 

Ceonothus like full sun Adam but I'm not sure whether they will cope with the hottest part of your garden in containers as their roots won't get the protection they would in soil. It's a case of trial and error I think.

 

See I'm rather new to gardening the hottest part of my garden cooks just about everything that gets put there except for my weigalia and honeysuckle that love it.

Didn't think about the roots in containers thanks for the reply.

 

Dont think I'd try growing Ceonothus in containers.

I think it will tend to either grow too big if fed properly, or look sick if not.

Its not really a plant for a container unless its massive.
