Whilst I (very sadly) have a slight penchant for designer shoes and handbags (yep, I REALLY am that sad) it's Primark jeggings for me all the way. They're soft, fit any shape, they're elastic so stretchy and cheap as well. They honestly look like any upmarket skinnies. I'm going to make another confession now. I love charity shops. Ours are packed to the gills with jeans. Oh and boot fairs. I got a pair of Victoria Beckham jeans for 7 quid and a pair of True Religions (not copies) for 2 quid. Now you know all my secrets *hangs head in shame*

Another fan of Charity shops and boot sales. Newport (Shropshire) has so many Charity shops, think it was 12 last time I went. I love them, and you're giving items a new lease of life, whether it's for the home or to wear. My best purchase from a CS was an old sewing box on legs. I'd wanted one for ages, and was so delighted to find one. Similar on the bay of evil go for £50. and up.. Mental! It was for sale for £20.00 so I gave them £25. as I was just so chuffed with it. I take a lot of items to the CS's too. :blue thumb:

I object to paying over the odds for Jeans, mostly because I am going to batter the life out of them in the garden or decorating etc, yet when you look around a lot of them seem to be designer labels that cost a bomb. I even googled cheap jeans the other day, and had one website declaring that £45 a pair was cheap!

Sainsburys, Tesco (occasionally) and M&S are about my level; at least there I can get jeans that fit.

When it comes to any clothes shopping, I usually ask to be pointed to the 'dull and dowdy' department and go from there :snork:

Must be a bit weird, but I've bought the same jeans for about the last 30 yrs.

Not cheap ones, I might add, but they do take a bit of a bashing.

Usually wear them, when new, for going to church on Sundays, then as they gradually get older they get down graded until I wear them for work.

I buy them on line now, not found a shop in town that sells them anymore.
Probably because I want to "wear them out" myself, not buy them "worn out" already.
