Getting there now, rest of the Victorian Blue Brick laid round the edge of the slabs and the whole side entrance re laid... Fences were also painted the Bank Holiday Weekend but have no photo of that.

Plenty more to do but hopefully the grass will be ready for its first cut this weekend. Fed it last weekend to help boost growth.

OOOoooo, that looks great... Will have a look at the website for anything else and place an order. :-) Cheers for your help!

Have ordered a few of the below to go around the borders in the garden for special effect at night.

Cheers DIPS, will be careful. ;-)

Do you know if its now the wrong time of year to get Espalier Rootstock? Been looking for some MM102 apple trees but can't find them anywhere. Is it best to wait until next year?

its best to plant apple trees in the dormant season so over winter

but my nextdoor neighbour keeps putting them in well late and did this last year at this time. He also has just put some in this year They didn't do much or anything at all but this year apparently they are

personally I would wait until the beginning of next year but up to you. i dont think it matters hugely they just wont do much

Just checked you garden planting calendar it say october till april is the best time to plant :-)

Garden lights went in last night. One more light has to go in the right hand border but I need an extension before I can put it in.

Grass is starting to grown nicely now. A bit patchy but will fill out over time. Took all the tin foil down last night also.

            Night pic attached.

Lawn is finally starting to look decent.... Still going to take a while to get it to how I want it. Still patchy but had to cut the really long stuff last night, hopefully will come back stronger.
