unidentified pink flower

A friend sent these pictures: the flowers grew from seeds I sent as a present, but neither of us remember what they are! At first sight I thought some kind of geranium but I doubt it now, on checking in a book I thought perhaps corncockle (seeds were probably wild flower) but the central sections and styles/stigmas etc don't seem to suggest that.

 

Looks like Godetia...sometimes now called Clarkia.

Wow thanks! Yes, they do seem to resemble Godetia. Once regarded as the most popular British garden annual, I believe?
