Enhanced May 2009 Photo Comp Votes..!!

    Voting time again..!!! [​IMG]

    :) It is so nice to see new people entering in this comp too, always nice to have fresh ideas on a theme.. The more the merrier...:thmb:

    :) This month is going to be very very difficult as always, to decide on just three!!! Voting will close at Midnight on 3rd June 2009 ..!!     :)

    Users Vote Guidelines below:-

    1. Competitors cannot vote for any of their own photographs.

    2. Please vote on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place basis with 1st place carrying 5 points, 2nd place 3 points and 3rd place 1 point - Please give a short explanation as to why you voted for each photo..

    * The photograph with the highest points wins.
    NO VOTES FOR 2 1ST PLACES ETC

    3. Votes should be cast within three days after this thread starting.

    All members of the forum get a vote, not just those who've submitted pictures.


    The Winner of the competition chooses the theme for the next competition, please keep it separate from the other comp theme. So put your thinking caps on in case you are the winner. :wink:

    :dh: Well for me, I think this has been the hardest Enhanced comp to try & decide on just three pictures for ages....!!!! Some really brilliant pics everyone..!

    1st.. Capney.. The Village Pond... It has a timeless look to it.. Like a memory does..!!!

    2nd.. Victoria.. Breakwater.. Surreal... Could this be a breakwater on a Blue Planet somewhere in the Cosmos..?:wink:

    3rd.. Gogs... Wild & Wonderful... A simple, but beautiful piece of landscape totally transformed by colour & contrast to leap out at you..!

    Oh this was so hard, Getafix, Woo & roders , your pictures were all brilliant, but as It was so hard to choose & :dh: I couldn't decide, so I am sorry but, I put you all into a hat & these are the 1st 3 in the order I drew them..!!!!

    1st Capney-The Village Pond-A lovely pic and artfully enhanced

    2nd Woo-Easy on the eyes-this one cought my eye straight away.

    3rd Roders-Ashnesse Bridge-Another northern scene brought to life.

    1st ... capney .... The Village Pond .... (nostalgic, reminded me of my cottage in Bucks)
    2nd ... Marley Farley ... And in The Green Corner (an unique enhancement to a lovely scene)
    3rd ... roders ... Ashness Bridge Cumbria (definitely a picture postcard)

    It was a difficult decision but I found these three, although enhanced very differently to each other, had a sense of calm and serenity about them.

    Found this really hard. Almost like being back in harness again. Decisions, decisions:D
    However I stuck to the "Landscape" criterion when making my choices and came up with -

    1 Marley - Out West

    2 WOO - Easy on The Eyes

    A bought of pnuemonia has put me in the "cant be bothered" frame of mind.

    1st- WOO-Bluebell Hill
    2nd-Marley-Green Corner
    3rd-Roders-Ashness Bridge.
