    What type is this please

I'm sure I was sold this as a shrub but can't remember I ask because it seems to want to grow out instead of up hugging the floor with really long stems .

From what I've read climbers flower in summer shrubs flower in winter and that they both like shade being a woodland plant.

I put the second picture to show what I think are flower buds or just could be new leaves.
It also says about shrubs do well in full sun my plant in the pic has been sat in the strongest part of my garden sun wise and has been doing well any HS experts on this forum.

Lonicera has many shrubby forms. Most of them are fairly tall and do not trail along the ground. Without flowers it is hard to id them as most of them have very similar leaf shapes.
The Winter flowering ones are forms of L. fragrantissima, but there are plenty which flower in Spring and Summer.

It looks like Lonicera japonica to me, so it is a climber. Those are flower buds coming through, should be quite fragrant too.
