I swear this spring is colder than last spring was and that's bad. The first week of June is often cold and wet in this part of the world but goodness this year night after night it's frost warnings.

Last night I put everything back in the greenhouse and it will all stay there until Thursday morning. We are so close to freezing almost every night in the long range forecast it's just discouraging. I learned long ago not to plant out the delicates until June 7th but every year it's so darn hard to hold off and wait it out.

I'm ready for a pity party.....anyone want to bring a frost cover and attend?:skp:

It's practically blazing here-even up North! Been out weeding today and I have a sunburn.

Sigh.......you all should count your blessings.....you're a lucky lot! It's 14C in my greenhouse at the moment and that's with everything closed up (mind you it's only 9 a.m. here). I wonder if there's a "heat dance" a person could perform?

Just seen the forecast for the week and there is a possible chance of overnight ground frost in the north here later in the week.
A cold front moving SW wards, is forecast for tuesday/ wednesday, bringing a drop in temperature.

I doubt it will be that bad, but at least it shows that we are not out of the woods yet regarding cool nights.
I sympathise Greenjeans, I hope it warms up soon.
