        Craig,

As the year goes on, I'll get more than the value spent back on fresh produce which is free from pesticides, and over the years, the tunnels will keep on giving back.

As usual..... Done a bit more.

Firstly, I thought I would do a little more to tunnel #3 , Adding shelf/door frame braces.

Then thought that now would be a good time to apply the Anti-Hotspot tape to the framework

            I got the cover out

I then thought I would check the direction of the wind

And then started to fit the cover ...

Then once covered, it was time to start connecting the velcro straps

And this is how it looked with all the velcro straps holding

I came back later in the day as I hadn't had time to batten around the base of the tunnel, which is what you see here :-

            Tunnel city :-

            View from #2 into #3

I cleared the base of weed growth (topped)

And then covered with anti weed mat

            And then started to fill........

            ...... Until FULL :)

So, I had to turn my attention to the outside a little, to start getting some stuff 'In the ground', so over a few days I have been clearing a little bit at a time.

Have planted out 6 Tomatillo's, some Radish, Beetroot and have sown some more carrots in the Black pots in this pic.

One of my Pumpkin plants is bearing some fruit ...

And.... Really went to town yesterday and cleared a large area, dug out holes for 40 'Fiesta' Sweetcorn and 8 Courgette plants, also out of shot is a 3rd Pumpkin plant.

Lots and lots more still to do ie 48 'Painted Hill' Sweetcorn plants and I do still have some Courgettes and Pumpkins to plant as well as a variety 'Red Warty Thing'

Still have to get the other 2 Tunnels 'planted up', which isn't going to be too hard, I've got the plants to more than fill them.

A lot of effort has gone into that! Bit jealous of the polytunnels but I have nowhere to put one let alone three
