    Hi Kris,

You can still plant anything that you see for sale which has been grown in containers ( pots etc ).

Go to your local garden center and see what they have on offer. There should also be someone there who can offer you advice etc

Also, have you a Wilkinsons near you. They do a good range of plants virtually all year round and are currently having a sale.

Hi @Kris1990 welcome to GC:sign0016: I think it depends on what you want to grow. I have just put from growing seed in the greenhouse,' honesty' into the garden and am willing to take the chance to see what happens and possible learn from my mistakes.

I'm sure someone will come along soon to guide you as I am but a novice myself :heehee:

    What about winter pansies?
A cut-and-come-again salad box can be really pretty, especially if you mix it up with 'bright lights' chard and use colourful containers.

I think much of what you sow now will be in readiness for next year, no?
I would start prepping for next spring/summer in my greenhouse and buy some more mature annuals from the store just to enjoy some colour now, if I were you :)
