Hard frost hits the Gunnera

    Mine is definitely weaker this year but starting to rise. The leaves are not as big as usual. We shall wait and see how it develops :)

    Mine is ok but dissapointing in height and leaf size since relocating...possibly not the same goodness in the soil despite heavily fertilised and watered...the second pic is in the previous location same time last year.

      I will take the roots a little time to establish ... it looks fine to me :)

      I guess the weather this year hasn't helped with everything off to a slow start. It's hard to have patience as you get older, the years aren't long enough :sad: Come cut down time I will build up the area with a mound of manure rich fresh soil.The whole area will be cleaned up and the plant as a feature.
