Please help with some identification

    I wouldn't worry about the euphorbia being poisonous. Lots of plants are poisonous, but generally are only irritants (sap, in this case, stingers in other cases etc) or poisonous if you eat the seeds (e.g. laburnum) or leaves (lots of them). For most people euphorbias are no more a nuisance than roses can be.

    Rose Bay Willow Herb (fire weed) should be pulled out now before it gets a chance to flower and seed. It can spread very easily but is also easy to keep clear. It is known as fire weed as it is supposed to have been the first plant to flower profusely on the burnt sites after the Grat Fire Of London. I wasn't there so can't be sure it is true :hehe: :old:

    Other problem with the euphorbia is that it's bi-ennial... I'm afraid I'm far too lazy to intentionally plant anything that's going to die after two years!
