I couldn't resist this hanging basket at the garden centre at the weekend

It is full of Friolina Yellow - a trailing viola hybrid which can trail up to 6 foot with flowers from top to bottom . The hanging basket is a nice one as well but I think that it will soon be hidden.

On the label it says it is from the same people who have the copyright for Surfina - so is this another flower that has been produced by selective breeding?

    Lovely bright yellow :)

I always plant Viola in the hanging basket for the winter so will be interested to see how your trailing variety gets on as could be something to consider.
