Leaf cutter bees enjoying my wild flowers before they flower?

Noticed these notches in the leaves of my wild flowers.

 

They dont look clean enough cuts for leaf cutters.
They usually take out a circular piece.

I've got lots around here.

 

They usually cut in a semi circle ?

 

Damn! What the hell has taken a fancy to these then?

Its probably just slugs.

 

My copper tape should have stopped that! I can't put pellets down.

 

It looks like your plant is in a pot so try sprinkling some sand around the base of the pot to keep slugs away. Check the base of the pot and under any rim first in case any are hiding.
