    Chipper, thanks for your help and link - do you think this would get rid of moss?

    Yes this will definitely kill the moss however you need to cure the underlying problem, a shadey area perhaps, constantly damp or even compacted area?
    How much moss is there? it's allright killing it but then you may be left with bare patches so prepare to overseed.

    I used 300g's to cover 150m2 so you don't need loads.

    The correct dilution is around one to two cups per 10 litres of water, therfore a small quantity will be fine.

    I've tried around the local area but cannot find any 'Ferrous Sulphate'.

    It looks like I'm going to have to pay the £15.00 delivery.

    £15 is a lot when your only after one item, how about using lawn sand instead or any other product that already contains iron including some of the weed and feed from garden centres and B&Q etc.
