How common is Common Bistort?

    Hi all. :):)
    Today whilst driving along a narrow lane, I came upon a mass of Common Bistort, not daffodils! They looked beautifulâ?¦. But Iâ??ve never seen them before, not where I live, south Wales. So just how common are they? :scratch::scratch:

    They are pretty common here in my neck of the woods.

    not very common down here infact I've never seen this growing wild on the Isle of Wight but there was plenty of the stuff at Chelsea =]

    I have never seen it in the wild. But I saw Persicaria bistorta 'Superba' today in a garden. It is probably little different. Its one that I would like to have in my garden.
