    Hi,

    I've a few potted buxus, which I've had for many years now. Should I take them out, take off some compost and put new stuff in? If so, when the best time?

    Regards,

      Well this is only my personal experience, but our Buxus never did well in pots so we put them in the ground and they really took off then!!

        @WeeTam

        What I'm thinking of doing, but I might be wrong. Next spring time, most trees & bushes start to grow again, so maybe that's the best time to re-pot buxus and this will give the roots months to settle down again before the growing season stops in the autumn. That's my thoughts:ideaIPB:

        @clum111 That sounds good also. Providing you don't damage the roots and water it well afterwards, you can move it most anytime really.

        @Val..

        Thanks for your advice. Think I will leave it till spring now to give me a chance to get the buxus living again before winter.

        @WeeTam

        Howay, do you like swearing? V cold winter:yikes: I consider those words as swearing:lunapic 130165696578242 5:
