Why isn't my bread rising as much as usual?

    Yes, it does seem like the ingredients are lacking in quality.

    In no way a baker, but ex electronics, I would say your element is not radiating the same temperature as it was previously (wear and tear, Just as you need to turn your toaster up a notch to get the same toast as last year)

      It's certainly possible. But it's a Panasonic, I thought those were made to last? :)

      I'll try different flour and yeast first and if no luck there will look into getting a replacement element.
