Hacking back a hydrangea

    I'd like to reduce the size of a bog standard hydrangea by about two thirds - I'm not overly concerned about loss of bloom next year but I'd like the thing to live. Can I go for it? Currently in armageddon gardening mode.....

    Good afternoon @jennywren yes my friend I usually cut mine down to the ground when they grow to large,,it rejuvenates them ,but how much is up to you:smile:
