Evening all, Alan from Udny, Aberdeenshire. Working for a farming contractor, working many hours and having no time to look after a garden was frustrating until now.
I'm now able to look after my garden and much more.

 

Hi and welcome! So what are your plans - maintenance? An exciting garden project? Having more time is going to open up so many possibilities!

 

To GC Alan, glad to hear that you have more time to spend in your own garden and will look forward to watching your progress

 

Thank you, our garden is grass at the moment but that will change. Dig over and start from scratch but I'm not sure what goes where and what will grow in this area. Back to school for me I've got a lot to learn. I have an exciting garden project at work too. My boss has asked me to experiment with a heated indoor garden (lighting to follow) and see what I can grow. It's 25m x 6m. The only problem is that I'm having to learn as I go and it's a bit scary. I might be planting my garden with some of the fruits of my labour in the not too distant future

 

That all sounds really exciting Alan! I get the scary bit... I'm quite new to gardening too and it's such a steep learning curve. Good luck to both of us, and do keep us updated about your projects as we'd love to see what you get up to
