    Food dryer, can't use it yet though as it draws too much power and trips the inverter :doh:

    Can stick it in the sun though for the time being. The flies were getting in my home made one, as much as I like sun dried tomatoes, I don't like them with fly poo on them :sad:

      Only down the van, can't use the lecky at the flat as it's a key meter and runs out at the drop of a bat :doh:

      Been using my new dryer too, tried drying anything I can get my hands on: Sea Kale (horrible), Runner Beans (slightly less horrible), banana (yummy), apple (very yummy), onions (OK), cucumber and courgettes (not nice), potatoes (tastes like smash). The best have been the tomatoes, takes a whole bowl full to get 4oz. It seems I need to grow bigger ones next year for drying, the little cherry varieties shrivel up too much. Here's my last batch:
