 I can totally agree with you about not having a descent nights sleep since Pete.. No matter how exhausted I will sleep for the first couple of hrs but after 3 or 4 o'clock very little sleep after that.. Hardly ever actually go to bed before midnight either..!:mad::ywn:

Will keep you posted Marley. Two winters in a row where sea ice has formed in the local harbours, bit of a worry.:halp:

Worse case scenario - 2 mile thick ice sheet ending in a line from Bristol to London, permafrost down thru France and the tree line knocked back to the Pyrenees :sofa:

Well we are on the same parallel as Newfoundland it is just the gulf stream that keeps us warmer... They have been experiencing progressively colder and longer winters these few years now.. It will take me a few mins to find them but I will find a few pics for you... ;)

I know it was last year but this is the sort of thing I mean.. This is typical winter weather..

                Waterfalls like this
                [IMG]

Early summer still brigs ice-burghs floating by
                [IMG]

                Some are really great shapes
                [IMG]

Or maybe stunning wildlife like this
                [IMG]

What I am really trying to find are the photos of the bay where he actually lives completely frozen over... We are very lucky we do not get this sort of weather...
