Oooooo I can just feel the heat from that sun Ha Solar! What is the shrub with the blue flowers please?

 

Thank you all for the welcomes, it has been a warm year here but I think wee are at the last few warmer days before the temperature changes back to about 20°c which I guess is still warm compared to further north.

The blue flowers I am 99% certain they are Cape Leadwort(Plumbago auriculata). There is another one elsewhere, quite nice but a bit wild at the moment.

 

A very warm welcome to GC and congratulations on the recent purchase, I hope that you are well settled.

I've just returned from Spain and have a property on the Atlantic side.... oh boy it was so hot so had to do most of the work first thing in the morning or very late afternoon

I'm really looking forward to watching your progress and catching up in the forums

 

Thank you Apple Blossom for the welcome and congrats, sorry for the delay in getting back it's been a hectic week but it's a long weekend today so can relax a bit now.

It was definitely a hotter summer this year and you don't want to do much in the heat of the day. It's cooled down a bit now and finally we are getting stuck into some stone removal to prepare for spring. So many centipedes though.

Look forward to posting as we go to, it will be interesting to see what we can come up with.
