A lot of people believe that when someone dies they become a spirit and they can be contacted by prayer, a psychic or a Ouija board. Some believe in re-incarnation where on death the soul goes from one body into another and therefore the knowledge that the person had goes with them, so "the answer lies with those that died before us"
I must add that I do not think that I believe any of this but it is raining and Bailey the dog doesn't want to go for a walk!

I had a dream many years ago that I was driving down the road, not in a car, but in a speed boat.
The strange part is, that the speed boat then took off, and I was flying around the tree tops in it.
I have a feeling that the dead can contact us through our dreams. When Blackpuss passed on News Years day, I had a dream that night that she was walking up my chest as I lay there, and I had a really strong feeling that she had come to say goodbye.

@NorthantsGeezer, joking apart, I am sure that there are many things in this life (and beyond) that we do not comprehend, it would possibly blow our minds if we could understand even a small part of it. How many times has your "intuition" told you something and how many times was it correct? The same with dreams possibly?

Intuition is not as clever as it seems. It's just that the brain is very clever, and can process lots of information concurrently. We get the illusion of premonition because it's built into our survival instincts to constantly cross reference current stimuli with past experience. In simple terms, last time A, B and C happened, D happened next.

Yes, I am very good regarding instinct/intuition etc. It's like everytime I approach the traffic lights, and everybody goes through, but I 'KNOW' it will change to red when I get there.
It's another one of those things that people say I exaggerate about, until I drive them somewhere, and they say 'bloomin eck me 'ol mucker, you are right!'.

That could be because your subconscious has already calculated the timings and worked out that the lights are due to change OR somebody up there doesn't like you! :noidea: :heehee:

The last dream that I remember having was when I was eight. It was a regular dream for about a year and it was me floating down the stairs, with my head at my normal head height but my legs folded back at the knee, and I could then float anywhere I liked. I tried it, once, and fell down the stairs!

No time for dreams last night. I had three short dozing sessions of approx. 20 minutes each. Watched the news and read a book in between.
