Does anyone have any idea what this plant is please? It came from J Parkers earlier this year as a ground cover perennial but I have no idea what it is. It certainly seems to have taken off, that's for sure! Many thanks in advance.

Far from it for me to even try and compete with @Silver surfer :heehee: but just maybe your plant might be Cerastium Tomentosum which I know as Snow in Summer. Why I am thinking it might be this is due to you saying it's taken off. Snow in Summer is decidedly rampant. No doubt I'm wrong! Snow in Summer as the name suggests has white flowers in late Spring/ early Summer.

Thank you @Silver surfer & @silu. Looking at both plants, it looks more like the pictures of snow in summer but the stems are a deep red colour?

Definitely not a Cerastium, that's a creeping rockery plant with white hairy leaves.

            I'd say a Helianthemum, also known as a " Rock Rose ".

Well done @JazzSi & @Anthony Rogers. I'm glad I was wrong as snow in summer is a rampant thug which I'd have been surprised at J parkers selling in the 1st place. Mind you that said many of these companies are renowned for selling some really rubbish plants, some even selling my absolute pet hate, Spanish Bluebells. Despite my on-going battle with them I still have 1000s in all 3 colours:wallbanging:.
