Ants in strawberry pot

Hello everyone!! :D

Can you help?

My strawberries are in a strawberry planter pot. They are in flower & are starting to fruit. The problem I have is that there appears to be lots of black ants all over the flowers & fruit. I cannot see any aphids, but I have heard that ants can destroy the fruit. How can I get rid of the ants?

Please help if you can!!!

I dont think its the ants that destroy it, but the aphids they farm on it.

I have looked on strawberry plants & there are no aphids, shall I still spray with soapy water anyway?:cnfs:

 

Yes.It might be worth putting some ant powder down carefully away from the fruit, the ants will carry it into the nest and hopefully wipe them out.
