I've been waiting for it to flower for 4 days, was worried yesterday with those strong winds we had.
Sorry about the messy garden and greenhouse

I had a cherry tree stump it was there when we moved in, this year I found by chance a wood boring wasp. I dug it up and cut it open and found about 3 separate clumps of grubs, only way was to burn it but yo did the parents buzz around a lot.
Strangely the 2 previous years it was covered in fungus, but this year there was only a few hard crusty bits on the trunk

Things are a bit topsy turvy this month. Some plants that should have finished are still, just about, flowering whilst others are early.

The shoo fly plants are still breaking into flower whilst the seed pods are forming very nicely.

Cobaea scandens is also doing the same.

We have a lot of grasses and they're now coming to the end of their season but are still putting on a display.
