I'm growing and experimenting with a few the last two years and bought a few this year in Wales ...

Madam Corneilleson (one of my favourites, very sturdy and fits my garden well)
Blackie (beautiful but a bit showy for my taste)
    Winston Churchill (first year)
    Diva Whitney (first year)
    Genii
Carmel Blue (which I don't like, blooms too big and looks to showy for my taste so given some to neighbours, looks like too many blooms for the foliage to me)
    Paula Jane (first year)
    Lady Thumb (first year)
Beacon Rosa (I'm wonder if it was mislabelled as it's annoyingly trailing, may give it to a neighbour)
    Alice Hoffman (first year)

I find their habit and usefulness a bit touch-and-go so I grow them in pots the first year to see where they would fit properly in the garden - if not I give them away.

    Good luck with yours
