ID please

    Hi, any idea what this is. Photo was taken back in october so no flower on it now.
    Also, how hard can this be cut back without killing it off as it has got to big for where it is?

        It's Brachyglottis Sunshine (sometimes known as Senecio Sunshine).

        In my experience you should be able to cut it back fairly hard, by half the growth or even more, without doing it any harm.

        In the past I have cut back really overgrown specimens even harder, to within just a few inches of the ground and they've still come back, it's quite a robust plant.

        Best done in early spring, although you can do it right away if you need the space now.
