        I've just voted on the Macro Comp and I have to say it took me hours...... all the photos are such good quality :) I wanted to vote on all of them

          Just added a photo in the comp, with influence from Fern4 :-)

          I usually edit my photos so I didn't think it was appropriate to enter many previous competitions, but the one I have entered in this month (January) is not edited other than conversion and minimal sharpening. Fortunately the light was just right to work with F8, to create a quite dark scene, but still capturing the essence of sunlight from the setting sun. The thing I aim for in my photos is pretty much to create an atmosphere for the person who views it.

            @stephenprudence I'm not sure of the restrictions for competition off hand but I believe we aren't allowed to alter photo's apart from size and framing. The rules are at the start of each competition if you want to check. :)

              All entries should limit the use of digital manipulations to only file conversion, level, curve and sharpening. Adding elements to the original image that were not there are NOT allowed. NO software filter programmes are allowed,ie (Paintshop Pro ect) frames optional. Colour or Black and White (Black and White conversions allowed).

                          @Simon Everett my apologies my friend,I have had to delete your image in the April photo comp as it was taken in 2013 which is outside the allowed date.

                          1. All entries to be taken in current competition month & submitted by 5pm on the last day of the month of the competition..
