Here it went down to -2c overnight and only reached 7c by the afternoon. Beautiful sunny drive to Bridgwater but it clouded over by the time we got there.

Our local weather forecast promised us a day of sunshine a few days back, how on earth can they get it so wrong. It's been dark, grey and drizzly with some fog here and there too, 6C/43F

image.jpeg It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas here now but I do love to see everywhere looking white and fresh looking and it brings lots of our village people out and about as opposed to them all being stuck in front of the telly all weekend....:snork::whistle:

Sorry it's a bit dark but it is 3.30am in the morning...

Lowest winter temperature so far this year, -14C. No wind, and light cloud.

We've got another weather warning here for snow. I've yet to see any. :noidea: It's windy and 1.3C although it feels colder in the wind.

Morning, it's frosty here but very bright. I've only venture out the backdoor far enough to take the hens some fresh water! Hubby let the girls out this morning :blue thumb:. Looks like we are all in for a chilly day.

                            snow 17.01.2016.jpg

Dog (formally known as Pup) went loopy when he saw his first snow and got obsessed with eating it, going to make a big saving on dog food today, possibly another saving on clearing up poops.

Got just enough snow for the local kids to toboggan down then steeper slopes of this hill.

We're very cold (about -7 atm) but very little snow, nothing like the above photo. Thought it might be nice to have some of my home grown Leeks for supper so went out armed with a fork to dig some up. Forget it they are stuck solid in the ground. Unless things warm up fairly soon we'll still be eating them in June!
