      Where are you from?

I'm not a green house owner and have never used one, so can't help with that. Just wanted to welcome you to our little corner of the 'net :spinning:

:sign0016: Welcome to GC Milnrowdale :)

Happy Retirement and New Home :)

I'm no expert but your greenhouse looks in fairly good condition. When I moved I inherited a wooden one and most of the glass was cracked or had fallen out. I replaced them quiet easily, cleaned it out and gave it all a good wash with Jayes Fluid :)

You have certainly come to the right forum, everyone is very helpful and friendly :grphg: Look forward to watching your progress

      Welcome to Gardeners corner :sign0016:

Not knowing what's been grown in there or if there were any diseases, might be an idea to replace the soil with some new compost or spent mushroom compost :)

Thanks all for your welcome, I have not had a garden to speak of at our previous home, so now I have a garden and time, I hope to make the most of it. The greenhouse is a bonus, but is absolutely filthy. so needs a good clean. there is a bench which is in good condition, what looks like an old kitchen cabinet which is rotten and a walk board which also rotten, so those will be thrown away. there is no soil, just a concrete base so I presume grow bags or pots will have to be used.
as to what to grow? don't know yet, cleaning comes first

A very warm :sign0016: from me too.

Firstly happy retirement & I hope you will be very happy in your new home :dbgrtmb:

The greenhouse looks great, you are spot on to give it a good clean, as already suggested use some bleach or jeyes fluid :blue thumb: they will both kill off any diseases which are lerking in there :blue thumb:. Grow bags are good but they need a lot of watering, last year for the first time (as recommend on here) I bought 3 bags of compost & cut them in half & used those for my tomatoes. I also grow cucumbers in my greenhouse :dbgrtmb: others grow peppers :blue thumb:.
Do ask as many questions as you need to there's lots of very knowledgeable friendly people on here who are only to pleased to help :dbgrtmb:. I shall look forward to hearing all about your garden :dbgrtmb:
