This is a question from a girl in Israel. Anybody any ideas?

I have a huge climbing white rosebush in my garden, and a few weeks ago I noticed that some of the roses had a pinkish tint to them. I actually first noticed it as I was walking on the path on the other side of my fence and thought some kids has given them a light spraying with ink or something - you know, as kids do. A week later I noticed it on the roses on my side of the fence too so I can't blame the neighbourhood kids. Anyway, today I was emptying my teapot out onto the garden, like I always do, and I wondered if the loose green tea leaves are affecting the ph or alkaline in the soil? I know you can alter the colour of some flowers but didn't think green tea would do it.

    Any ideas?

If it does, it's the first time I have ever known it to affect the colour of roses. Very interesting.

And there is no possibility of it being the flowers of any suckers?
