Bare Root Roses

    Is it still OK to buy bare roots looking to add to my collection.

      As long as the ground you want to put them in isn't frozen solid then yes. The shops around my area have only just started selling them, and I need about another 5 to finish off my Rose garden.

      Yes it's still ok to buy them. It looks like we are in for a run of mild weather now so the ground should be fine for you to plant them up.

      Generally roses are sold bare root through the cooler months and potted in the warmer months.

      Hi @tangham yes you have until march (November - March) as long as the ground isn't to wet which will rot the roots:smile:
