Thank you to all my GC family for your lovely responses, some of which are definitely flattery but still much appreciated.

How I wish! But I think my three offspring all in their 30's might have something to say about that.

@Kandy and @Beckie76.......yes, the seventies, 1974. A long time ago now and scarily it's flown by.

I had a pair of shoes like that at age 10, so my guess is 1974

Nowt wrong with em, but that reminds me of another pet hate . White shoes with black tights/stockings .

That's a bad combination, almost as bad as a black bra under a white top a real pet hate of mine!

Well I don't know how else such a beautiful young lady as you could have got married in 1974...
