What's your weather - 2016

Another dull, cloudy day the same as yesterday. It's windy and 9.3C

 

Grey this morning turning to wet and windy from noon. It looks like we're in for more gales over this weekend as suspected. 6C/43F today.

 

It's throwing it down now..it's not looking too good tomorrow either as we've got a yellow weather warning for rain - again.

 

Blustery and this will be the calm before the storm,dont panick .................. yet

 

Blue sky morning but windy, 9c max.

 

After a light frost it's was sunny up until around 3ish then the clouds rolled in along with the wind! Reached 7'c/45'f
Currently raining with the wind ever increasing 42'f

 

Not sure I have the vocabulary to describe what's going on here. I can't see my greenhouse from the house so not sure if it's still in situ. I am not going out in this gale until it calms down a bit. Can see we have a couple of large branches of my massive trees down and a piece of guttering is down too. Electricity is flickering so off to find the camping stove just in case everything goes phut! Hope you lot are fairing better, just glad it's light now as was really quite scary here around 5am when I thought the window to my bedroom was going to blow in.

 

The storm Gertrude has arrived.. been up since 5 because of "her" and I am worried about my roof.

 

3C, cloudy and a storm on the way in. All the predictions are that it will be a bad one.

 

We too are being battered by Gertrude and I just wish that it would all calm down as I am getting fed up with it now

 

Good old Gertie is here. It's blowing a gale and the wind turbines I can see from here are going like the clappers. Next doors pampas grass is a mess but it's a mild 11.3C

 

Gertie must be having major surgery as she crossed the North Sea, she's being called Thor when she arrives here....

 

Stay safe all of those in the path of Gertie/Thor

It is windy here, but nothing compared to what those experiencing Gertie are getting. It's damp, it's grey and I'm staying in.

 

Ditto @"M" we are not in the path of the storm proper but even so there are big branches down along the road. Stay safe folks up north.

 

It's not branches for us @Gay Gardener ... it's bin day today so there are quite a number of wheelie bins dancing around out there at the moment
