Mine opened at the weekend, sown in mid Feb also:

Its supposed to take 5 or 6 weeks to get the ripe fruit from first flowering, so that should be around early June - unless mine get wiped by a late frost!

I have taken over the conservatory with tomato plants! And I have some flowers on mine too! Just have to make sure the cat doesnt knock them off when she prowls through plants at night!

My tomatoes planted in February are in flower.

I planted 4 on the 27th December as an early growing experiment - they have tomatoes on.
They are in the conservatory and the varieties are Red Alert and Sub Arctic Plenty.

Thats a good effort shellie, don't forget to help the tomatoes set fruit, just give the plants a tap in the mornings - it helps the flowers to self-pollinate. Perhaps your moggy is helping you do that already.

Yes, I have heating in the conservatory JWK and the tomatoes have loved it.
I thought low light levels so early in the year might have been a problem. That was the reason for choosing Sub Arctic Plenty but in fact the Red Cherry came into fruit first - 28th April.

Our tommies are doing well and are now about 4 inches tall. They are still in their pots and hopefully this weekend I will get them in to the greenhouse soil.

The plant living in the kitchen window has about 10 small toms on it.
It looks like a palm tree for now, i`ve stripped the stem almost bare taking 15 cuttings from it over the last few weeks

I grow my main tomatoes outside JWK. Even although I am quite far north they do well as I have a sheltered south facing garden. This is some of last years - Red Cherry which did very well. Tigerella was also good. Gardeners Delight were very poor for me.
