Mine now works a treat with the new thermostat fitted. The old thermostat had corroded slightly.
Mine is the same 40 deg no shade untill evening. I have auto louvre/top opener, but I also open the door on may way out in the morning as well.
They dont really need to open horizontal, as long as they open the air will circulate as long as you have a top opener.
Just fitted a new thermostat and it works like a dream

Mine is the smallest model for an 8x4 gh. It has one dial from 0-20.
Just bought one off e-bay. Turned it on and when the thermostat is on 0 it is still blowing warm air. Is this right or is the thermostat broken?
Are there any greenfly on the leaves this can cause them to curl up. Do you have the greenhouse well ventilated?
Easier to leave the door or/and windows open. :lollol:

I suppose its down to the size on the greenhouse and the available ventilation. Dont think you would need one on an 8 x 6, if you have openers on it.
I am growing all my toms and cucs in buckets this year.
I planted some shirley tom seeds 3 are now about 3 inches high the other 3 are just coming through all planted the same time. So dont right them...
I have found good homes for my excess plants :thumb:
Just harvested my first crops grown in the greenhouse this year, loads of raddishes. They tasted fantastic, cant wait for the rest of the plants...
I have toms, chilli and peppers growing very well in my unheated greenhouse:thumb:
