    My friend in Canada sent me these pics of Niagara Fall in 1911.. It is hard to beleive such a huge volume of water could freeze solid like this when you look at what it is like normally from my holiday pics at the end..!!

    Fantastic pics and it really is hard to believe. All those people wandering around both on top and down at the bottom. As very young kids, Lofl and I used to live not too far away from them.

    Much more impressive than the Thames freezing, and that's incredible enough!!

    The chap at the bottom looks like a Roman Centurion! MAybe that's what happened to the glorious 9th......

    To add a little local story - this was the River Wensum in Norwich 1963 bbbbbbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
